I’m Joywonder Franetta Frank, also known as Joy Afro, a writer, creative, and observer of becoming.

I’m a Liberian multidisciplinary artist, author, poet, musician, and visual storyteller whose work explores becoming, memory, home, identity, faith, and the quiet inner worlds we carry.

My writing often moves between personal reflection and poetry, creating space for honesty without over-explaining. Through my books and creative work, I return to questions of belonging, womanhood, childhood, healing, and what it means to remain present with the life that shaped us.
